The 115th Congress was sworn in on January 3, 2017.  The U.S. Senate is now comprised of 52 Republicans, 46 Democrats and 2 Independents who caucus with the Democrats.  The U.S. House of Representatives is comprised of 241 Republicans and 194 Democrats.  Among the first orders of business scheduled in the House is consideration of two regulatory reform bills.

Among the first orders of business to be taken up by the 115th Congress, the members of which were sworn in on January 3, 2017, today, is regulatory reform.  By the end of its first week, the House will likely consider two bills that it passed in the last Congress but that did not move in the Senate.

In addition to bills related to the above issues, legislation has been introduced that affects other clean air issues.
